Charalampos is a talented pastry chef who loves making sweets, ice creams, cakes, and special desserts. His journey begins in Northern Epirus and continues through Corfu, Athens, famous pastry shops, luxury hotels, and finally Ioannina, where he creates his own special dessert: the Ioannina baklava.
Along the way, two mysterious little beetles, Fifi and Fofi, appear at important moments in his life. Whenever they arrive, Charalampos understands that something meaningful is about to happen.
This story combines the world of professions with memory, family history, imagination, pastry making, courage, and hope. It introduces young readers to the profession of the pastry chef while also showing how dreams, work, friendship, and faith can shape a person’s life. Part of the “Professions” children’s story series by Pantelis Papakonstantinou.
