Charalampos the Policeman

Charalampos is a policeman, a profession that helps protect people and keep neighborhoods safe.

In this children’s story, Charalampos starts his shift at the police station, meets his friend and colleague Panagiotis, and begins a neighborhood patrol. Their commander warns them that a known thief has been seen nearby.

During their patrol, the two friends stop at Pantheon Café, where they meet Lefteris and learn about his beloved green bicycle. A little later, the thief appears riding the stolen bicycle, and Charalampos, Panagiotis, and Lefteris work together to stop him.

This warm and simple story introduces young readers to the profession of the policeman, while teaching safety, responsibility, friendship, and teamwork.
