Charalampos is a civil engineer, a profession that helps people design and build their homes safely and correctly.
In this children’s story, Charalampos visits the town planning office, receives the approved building permit and drawings, and then goes to a construction site where a new maisonette is about to be built. Together with his friends Lefteris and Panagiotis, he supervises the work and makes sure everything is done properly.
But when Master Mitsos makes a serious mistake with the staircase formwork, Charalampos must act quickly to prevent a bigger problem. Through this story, children learn about the work of a civil engineer, construction, responsibility, supervision, and the importance of honesty. Part of the “Professions” children’s story series by Pantelis Papakonstantinou.
