Clean Monday has arrived, and little Charalampos is excited to spend a special day with his family and friends.
The family prepares a basket with traditional fasting foods, including lagana bread, taramosalata, olives, stuffed vine leaves, and halva. Then they travel to the countryside, where Charalampos, Lefteris, and Panagiotis fly their kites, share food, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Through this warm and cheerful story, Charalampos discovers the meaning of Clean Monday: joy, kindness, family, tradition, cooperation, and a fresh beginning with a clean heart.
A gentle children’s story by Pantelis Papakonstantinou, suitable for young readers, parents, grandparents, and teachers
