Charalampos has a very important profession: he is both a butcher and a fishmonger. He offers excellent-quality meats and very fresh fish, which arrive from the island of Karpathos on the same day they are caught.
One day, Charalampos receives a special order from the prime minister’s office. Fresh fish and wild boar are needed for an official dinner in honor of the president of Bolivia. Charalampos organizes everything carefully with the help of his friends, Panagiotis and Lefteris.
But a delivery mix-up happens when the wrong box is taken to the Maximos Mansion. Instead of the fish, the chef finds venison steaks. Charalampos must act quickly, correct the mistake, and make sure the official dinner goes well.
This warm and educational children’s story introduces young readers to the professions of butcher and fishmonger. It also teaches responsibility, attention, teamwork, and the important lesson that when we have doubts, we should always asκ.
